After traveling 6000 miles and spending eight hours with a renowned tattoo artist, Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. was shown a blatant inaccuracy.
The Brazilian forward and 2022 Champions League final winner has been using a two-week pause in the Spanish footballing calendar to travel stateside.
Vinicius spent his Christmas visiting legends in LA
Outside of football, Vinicius adores basketball, and got to meet and spend time with living NBA legends LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The 23-year-old then traveled to Los Angeles to see renowned tattoo artist Ganga in honor of his second favorite sport, basketball, and received a gorgeous back tattoo featuring several basketball icons.
Vini was in good hands because Ganga has previously worked on big-name celebrities like Carlos Alcaraz, Jake Paul, and LeBron himself.
After eight hours, the Brazilian, Pele, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Muhammad Ali all had their No. 7 on their backs.
Additionally, he had the phrases “Mentality” and “Black Lives Matter” emblazoned on him, but the mistake originated with Jordan.
The Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan, is depicted lining up a shot, but he makes an odd move. Jordan is widely regarded as the best basketball player of all time.
The iconic number 23 is shown in the photo making a free throw with his left hand—something he would never do with his right.
Even while Jordan did once shoot left-handed in a showy exhibition against the Atlanta Hawks, many fans were quick to call out the mistake after they saw it on Twitter.
The tattoo featured one key error
More often, though, Jordan showed off by shooting with his eyes closed, suggesting that it may have just been a mirror-effect error in the tattoo, or that Vinicius is a far bigger basketball nerd than anyone realised.
