Many people consider Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant to be two of the greatest NBA players ever.
Kobe Bryant allegedly became so irate at Michael Jordan that he avoided communicating with his teammates for a fortnight. Jordan is frequently considered the best player in NBA history. Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls and won six NBA titles throughout his storied career.
Because of his affiliation with Nike, Jordan remained one of the most prominent athletes in the world even after he retired. It was disclosed that during his playing career, Jordan had enraged Bryant to the point where the player avoided communicating with his teammates for a fortnight. Gilbert Arenas, a former player for the Washington Wizards, claims that during a game where Jordan prevailed while Kobe was sporting “Jordan 8’s,” Jordan irritated Bryant. After the game, it’s alleged that Jordan told Bryant, “You can wear the shoes, but you’ll never fill them.”
As quoted by Essentially Sports, Arenas stated: “So what happened next is that Kobe didn’t say anything to anybody during that time after Kobe got.” Therefore, they claimed that Kobe was silent for around two weeks. He didn’t communicate with his teammates or his players, for example. They simply stated that he was in a state of concentration. as though it were slack. Like, the practice was really that hard. Correct? The players asked, “Is he upset with us?” as a result. Did we harm him in any way?
Arenas added: “And then Phil(Jackson) was like, ‘no, no, no, no, no. Jordan told him, you can wear the shoes but you can never fill them.’ And they were like, ‘Oh sh*t, when do we play them again?’ They were like, ‘Yeah we play them in a few days.’ And that’s the game when Kobe had like 55.”
During his career, Bryant played only for the Los Angeles Lakers and won five NBA championships.
He was also named the NBA Finals MVP on two occasions and NBA Most Valuable Player once in 2008.
