Despite the Lakers’ early-season struggles, Russell Westbrook remains unfazed. He and his family traveled to the Happiest Place on Earth. Westbrook is a native of Southern California.
Russ had the perfect opportunity to spend some time with his family the next weekend as the Lakers, who had just finished their Friday game against the Clippers, were off.
Westbrook and his wife, Nina, took their kids to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, and they had a great day enjoying the rides at the theme park. They also provided delicious Churros.
The Lakers sensation sat in the front row of the Radiator Spring Racers while riding (photo below). Additionally, the 33-year-old visited the Web Slingers Spider-Man attraction in the Marvel Land of the new California Adventures Park.
Since being traded to his hometown Lakers, the former UCLA product has been all grins, notwithstanding a season marred by inconsistency caused by injuries and a lack of chemistry.
It goes without saying that Russ is not the initial celebrity to appear at Disneyland. Trey Songz, Nick Cannon, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Halle Berry, Mario Lopez, and Trey Songz are among the A-list celebrities who have visited the park.Throughout the years, Kobe Bryant was also a fan of Disney—he adored the attraction.
Russ and the Lakeshow will travel to Staples on Tuesday to face the Celtics in an attempt to regain the winning streak.
