Here’s how Jimmy Butler celebrated the Heat’s wild Game 2 win vs Celtics

Miami Heat Jimmy Butler injury NBA Playoffs Boston Celtics

On Wednesday night, the Miami Heat upset the Boston Celtics 111-101 to level their NBA Playoffs series at one game each.

Fans of the Heat, as well as Jimmy Butler himself, should be happy that the team is back in this series even with Butler out of the lineup.

Jimmy celebrated the Heat’s victory on Wednesday night in style. If you can’t be with your team when they face a rival team in the playoffs, that’s definitely the next best place to be.

Naturally, Butler didn’t stop at watching the Heat defeat the Celtics; he also enjoyed himself a little on Instagram.

Even while Butler’s allusion to Jaylen Brown’s remarks after the Heat’s 3-0 victory in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals was amusing, Celtics supporters would be aware that Brown’s assessment wasn’t entirely accurate. Following Brown’s remarks, Boston went on to win the following three games, but the Celtics fell apart in Game 7 of the series. Despite playing at home, Boston’s shooting percentage was under 40% as the Heat defense dominated the whole game.

The Heat might suffer the same fate as Butler, who appeared to be having a little fun at Brown’s expense. They might maintain the series closer than anyone thought they would, but in the end, the Celtics might advance to the second round.

Still, the Heat are playing with abandon, as like they had nothing to lose. Even with this Heat club, they may not be able to pull off another stunning run to the NBA Finals without Butler and Terry Rozier.

The Celtics must so continue to be seen as the favorites to win the series. But with Butler raising the ante with his vicious Instagram post, it makes for really exciting viewing. If Miami does manage to surprise Boston once more, it also makes Butler a very wise man.
