Ayesha Curry commemorates her husband’s standout dad moments with each of their three children in a heartwarming Instagram post brimming with cherished family memories.
Stephen Curry is receiving an abundance of love from his family this Father’s Day. Ayesha, his wife, along with their three children, shared a heartfelt Instagram post showcasing photos of the esteemed NBA star with their son Canon, 4, and daughters Ryan, 7, and Riley, 10.
“Happy Fathers Day Chooch!!! We love you so much. It is too much fun raising these 3 little humans together with my best friend, and you add so much excitement, fun, and wisdom to the journey!” Ayesha expressed.
She continued, “I am so proud of you. Watching you with our kiddos brings me SO much joy. Time to pop open a big wave and drive it down the fairway to celebrate!”
In April, the athlete carved out a special moment with Riley during a game. While she watched from the crowd, her dad led the team to victory against the Sacramento Kings.
Following the win, Curry made a beeline for Riley in the stands, extending his hand to perform a unique handshake they’ve shared for years, a cherished tradition between father and daughter.
Back in February, Curry and Riley enjoyed a memorable father-daughter outing, visiting Stanford University where his godsister, Cameron Brink, plays basketball. They attended a game between the school’s women’s basketball team and the University of Southern California.
In December last year, the four-time NBA champion discussed his children with E! News at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Awards.
When asked if his children are as impressed with him as other people are, Curry, the evening’s honoree, replied, “I would hope to say yes but probably for different reasons. I don’t think they care too much about how many times the ball goes in the basket.”
He went on to say, “They’ve been to a couple of parades and all that, so they enjoy the festivities of celebrating a championship. But when you’re at home, you’re just Dad, and that’s the best part about it.”
