Miami trip: Butler embarked on a tour of Miami, beginning in Little Havana, following his signing with the Heat in 2019. He started his day at Los Pinarenos with Cuban coffee—no sugar. He played dominoes in Domino Park to cap off the day.
Coffee industry: Butler is the owner of the BigFace coffee brand. In the midst of the pаndemic, he founded the company in the NBA’s Disney World bubble, motivated by his fascination with coffee. Butler took his BigFace coffee line to Hard Rock Stadium for the Miami Open the previous year. In the player-dining area and certain VIP areas of the tennis tournament, a stand served his coffee.
Regarding bringing BigFace to the Miami Open, Butler told The Associated Press, “I think when it’s coming from one professional athlete to another and they see me constantly drinking BigFace coffee, they know I wouldn’t put any B.S. in my body.” And being a professional athlete in any discipline, I know that everyone is extremely aware of what they put into their bodies. All I want to do is to present you with the ideal opportunity, and if you so wish, you can seize it.

Miami Heat years
Butler postponed his Miami Heat debut in 2019 for a valid family cause. He was away during his daughter’s birth, so he missed the first game and the following several. “I believe Jimmy’s absence from the game was the worst-kept sеcrеt that was known at the time. Now, Jimmy is a happy parent. “He has a little daughter,” stated head coach Erik Spoelstra. “Over the past day, there has undoubtedly been nothing but amazing news. We are ecstatic for him and can’t wait to welcome his daughter into our family.
First contract: Butler agreed to a four-year deal with the Heat worth a maximum of $142 million.
Butler during his Miami Heat player debut: When questioned about the reason behind his free agent choice to sign with the Heat, Butler replied, “To tell you the trutҺ, it’s the culture that I hear about all the time.” “The daily effort you put forth, your winning routines, and your winning strategies. How could anyone not want to take part in that? I was thrilled to be given the chance to visit and be present here. However, when I continued to learn about this culture, I thought, “I need that in my life.”

How it played out: A 12-year-old fan from Argentina traveled with his family to see Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler play. Cameras caught him holding a sign reading, “Dear Jimmy, we flew over 4,405 miles to see you play. Can we get a photo or a big face coffee?” But Butler was injured and didn’t play. The dejected fans had a happy ending, though, with the Heat and Butler arranging two meetings.

Jimmy Butler’s arrival with the Miami Heat
From the archives: The Heat’s acquisition of Jimmy Butler became official Saturday with the NBA moratorium coming to an end.
The attention now shifts toward this question: What is the Heat getting in Butler?
To start, Butler is a four-time All-Star who is preparing for his ninth NBA season. He turns 30 on Sept. 14. At 6-8 and 232 pounds, Butler is a wing player known for his ability to make an impact on both ends of the court.
“Jimmy’s leadership, tenacity, professionalism, defensive disposition and his ability to create his own shot will improve our roster immediately,” Heat president Pat Riley said in a statement to announce the addition of Butler. “Any time you can add a four-time All-Star to your roster, you make that move.”
