Jimmy Butler Collaborates With the Salty Donut to Bring Back Croughnuts

Miami Heat's very own Jimmy Butler has collaborated with the Salty to create a churro croughnut and a special coffee for a limited time.

You’re not alone if you’ve missed Salty’s croughnuts, an amalgamation of doughnut and croissant; Miami Heat NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler has also missed them.

For this reason, Butler has exchanged his Heat shirt for an apron (at least for the time being) in order to collaborate with the Salty’s flavor innovation team on the introduction of a brand-new doughnut and a limited-edition coffee under his Bigface Coffee coffee brand.

The Salty will be serving up his cinnamon-citrus cappuccino and churro croughnut, which were created in partnership with the Heat star, from April 12 to April 21. The churro croughnut is composed of brioche dough that has been dusted with cinnamon sugar, stuffed with a cinnamon mousse, and garnished with homemade small churros and a thin caramel sauce. The doughnut and the cappuccino, which has Bigface espresso, fresh orange juice, cinnamon syrup, and any kind of milk, go well together.

Both the pop-up sites and the 15 Salty locations will serve coffee and croissants made by Butler. This implies that followers of Butler in Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas will also be allowed to obtain these products that Butler has approved.

Butler states, “This new Bigface collaboration is special to me.” “We have the opportunity to collaborate with a hip, local Miami brand, the Salty, and support the neighborhood by contributing a portion of the sales to Project Backboard. Being a part of it makes me proud.”

A portion of the sales will be given to Project Backboard, a nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 and uses art to restore public basketball courts, as both brands are dedicated to improving the community.

The CEO and creator of the Salty, Andy Rodriguez, says, “As a Miami-born brand, we are stoked to partner with our home team’s biggest star to bring these ridiculously delicious items to our guests in Miami and beyond while raising money for a great cause.” “When drawing up this collaboration, it was important to us and Jimmy that we made a long-lasting impact on the community and we can’t think of a better organization to support than Project Backboard.”

Six-time NBA All-Star Butler founded Bigface Coffee in 2021 to provide his clients and supporters with high-quality coffee, goods, and experiences.

Since its debut, the company has partnered with other well-known figures for one-time events. For example, it collaborated with Daniel Patrick for Art Basel 2022 and with Bacardi to create an espresso drink with ɾum that was only available for a short while at Butler’s preferred Miami bars.

Perhaps his nicest (and tastiest) collaboration to date is his most recent one with the Salty.

“We had a blast working with Jimmy to create this perfect pair of items, and we’re excited for everyone to try them,” says Rodriguez. “They will blоw your mind!”

When bought separately, the cinnamon citrus cappuccino costs $6 and the churro croughnut costs $5.50. But for $10, you may obtain the “Bigface Bundle” if you’d want to purchаse both. All of the delicacies can be purchased in-store at any location or via the Salty’s app.
