A Michael Jordan-affiliated firm has paid $16.5 million for a mansion in a gated golf enclave in Florida that was established by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.
The South Florida Business Journal has accumulated several hints pointing to the rich Chicago Bulls icon and his wife, Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, even though the identity of the exact buyer has not been made public.
To begin with, the buyer of the 9,100-square-foot house also owns a different home in the development that has been connected to Jordan in the past according to numerous media sources. In addition, the Jordans have contracts for building with Bull & Bear LLC, the firm that purchased the house.
Dr. Michael A. Murphy, CEO of AirWayz, and his spouse Marla listed the five-bedroom, eight-bathroom house for sale. In actuality, it is 18,000 square feet less than Jordan’s second address in the development, which was constructed in 2013 on 3.05 acres.
In contrast, the recently acquired property was last sold for $8.3 million in 2017 and is only 0.9 acres in size.
