Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards Debuts Adidas AE 1 ‘McDonald’s’ 🍔🍟

We’re happy to be back to our regularly scheduled programming, and guard Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is the ideal spot to start. The 22-year-old is becoming a household name in the league and the sneaker business.

Edwards has donned his first pair of adidas signature sneakers during the NBA season. The adidas AE 1 has revitalized the basketball shoe industry not only with its innovative design but also with its equally innovative marketing.

Nearly all of Edwards’ shoe colorways are available from Adidas. However, Edwards teased fans earlier this week in a way that is almost definitely exclusive to him as a player. The much anticipated “McDonald’s” colorway of the adidas AE 1 is now available.

Since 2012, Adidas has served as the official McDonald’s All-American Game sponsor. Future NBA All-Stars, like Edwards in 2019, frequently participate in the annual all-star basketball game. Edwards is now sporting a mouthwatering red, white, and gold colorway on his debut signature sneaker.

There are other adidas athletes who play for McDonald’s on the court besides Edwards. Los Angeles Clippers player James Harden unveiled his eighth signature adidas sneaker earlier this month, featuring a McDonald’s motif.

Returning to Edwards, the adidas AE 1’s first four colorways were all sold out on the online store. But over the coming months, more intriguing hues are expected to be unveiled. Keep an eye on FanNation Kicks for all the latest sports footwear news.
