Asahd Khaled, the son of DJ Khaled, had his first birthday on Monday, October 23. To honor the renowned producer, they went all out for their young monarch.
On Sunday, Khaled and his partner Nicole Tuck rented out Miami’s recently remodeled nightclub Liv at the Fountainebleau for a lavish celebration with a jungle theme. In addition, Diddy showed out to host the celebration and assist in singing “Happy Birthday” to the beaming one-year-old.
The typical bottle scene and bar were replaced by the more kid-friendly baby valet, where the boisterous kids could ride about the club in style in miniature luxury vehicles. The dancers donned animal costumes suitably, and Khaled managed to incorporate actual tiger cubs into the event, which was reminiscent of The Lion King. Lorena Cartagena, Fat Joe’s wife, and their daughter were also present on Saturday.
Donning a king’s crown and matching paisley patterned baby blue dress shirts with his father, the Khaleds were presented with fresh plaques for their 2017 music achievements. Diddy commemorated the Asahd-executive produced album, Grateful, for going platinum in addition to the Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber-featured single “I’m The One” becoming 5x certified platinum this year by the RIAA.
It seemed Asahd enjoyed quite the weekend, stepping into his second year while even making a guest appearance with his dad on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, where the baby mogul showed off his favorite exclusive Air Jordans.
