DJ Khaled relaxes at a $34.5m mansion on the 11,000 square foot man-made Hibiscus Island

No amount of excess is ever too much in DJ Khaled’s world of excess. The music producer recently enjoyed a day in the luxuries of a five-bedroom $34.5 million residence on artificial Hibiscus Island, where he was able to enjoy the warm Miami sun. With an impressive array of amenities, such as a home theater with plush couches and lounge chairs, a sparkling infinity pool with views of the ocean and the city beyond, a wooden dock big enough for a yacht (or a fleet of Jet Skis), and an outdoor lounge area with roomy couches and stunning views of Miami Beach, the 11,000-square-foot ONE Sotheby’s megamansion is built for entertaining.

The property features an elevated outdoor kitchen surrounded by palm trees, complete with an integrated bar and BBQ, highlighting the home’s indoor-outdoor living area. The house is just as amazing inside, with a second kitchen that is situated more in the middle and has a modern color scheme of brilliant orange and sleet grey. The centerpiece of the spacious living area is an opulent glass coffee table, and a wall of glass sliders opens to the backyard patio and pool. Every bedroom boasts a floor-to-ceiling glass slider that opens to a private balcony; the master suite features an en suite bathroom, a sitting area, and lounge chairs. An upside-down floating staircase connects the floors, and a yellow banana sofa injects some color into the otherwise ultramodern, monochromatic room. One of the most striking aspects of the house is perhaps the playroom that was created especially for DJ Khaled’s beloved two-year-old son, Asahd.
