Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalia, looks just like him.
In a recent interview with Elle, the 20-year-old model and USC student discussed carrying on the “mamba mentality” legacy established by her father. She defined this as “constantly trying to be the best version” of oneself.
“It’s putting your best foot forward at all times regardless of all the noise,” added Natalia.
“I want to make sure that mentality stays intact, because it can be so easy to give up on yourself when things get tough,” according to her. You have to keep telling yourself, “I can do anything because I am positive and I am resilient.”
Bryant talked about her job as the face of UGG’s newest campaign, “Feels Like UGG,” and how she “focuses my energy on the things that bring me happiness” to get through difficult times in an interview with Elle.
Natalia said, “I spend time with the people I love, like my family.” I like to hang out with friends or listen to music to relax. These are the things I do when I need to de-stress and clear my head. I think it’s important to see the positive aspects of life.
The young sister Gianna and her father Kobe were two of the eight people who died in a helicopter crash in January 2020. Giovanni was thirteen years old. Since then, Arizona has dedicated sculptures, basketball courts, a handprint ceremony, and most recently, Arizona made the opening pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers home game in honor of the couple.
Natalia was wearing a Dodgers jersey with the No. 8 jersey, her father’s Lakers number, on the field. She accessorized her look with a pair of blue Kobe Nike sneakers.
Bianka Bella, 6, and her sister Capri Kobe, 4, participated in the field festivities alongside Natalia’s mother, Vanessa Bryant. Bianka was given the opportunity to call out the classic phrase, “It’s time for Dodger baseball,” prior to the game. The Los Angeles Dodgers gave the Bryants $100,000 to contribute to the Kobe and Gianna Bryant Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Natalia has been working hard to start her modeling career since making her runway debut at the Versace Spring/Summer 2024 show in a black cap-sleeve midi dress and gold heels. She had not walked the catwalk since signing with IMG Models in 2021, until this show.
Donatella Versace was “so welcoming and sweet and made me feel so comfortable, especially with it being my first runway,” the designer said in a post-show interview with Vogue.
I am really excited to take my first runway walk. “I am incredibly grateful to Donatella and flattered by her invitation to be a part of something so extraordinary,” Natalia stated to Vogue.
