They beаt the Detroit Pistons 118-110 on Tuesday night. Jimmy Butler scored 15 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, and Bam Adebayo and Duncan Robinson each scored 18.

The Heat have won 11 of their last 14 games and are now 11-3. Terry Rozier scored 17 points, Caleb Martin scored 15 points, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 11.

With 53 seconds left, Butler got into the lane and scored. On the next play, he made a 3-pointer to seal the deal for the Heat. Butler has made at least one 3-pointer and one steаl in 14 straight games, which is the NBA record and one game short of tying Rafer Alston’s record set in 2004.

With a 9-52 record, Detroit still has the worst record in the NBA, tied with Washingtоn for the worst record. Cade Cunningham scored 23 points for Detroit. Phoenix’s Simone Fontecchio scored 22 points, Jaden Ivey scored 16, Jalen Duren scored 14, and Isaiah Stewart scored 13.

Tyler Herro (foot) and Kevin Love (heel) were both out again for Miami, as is Josh Richardson (shoulder). The Heat have agreed to terms with veteran guard Patty Mills, and the deal is expected to be finalized Wednesday. This will help.

From March 15 to 17, Detroit plays back-to-back games against the Heat, which is the last of its next 10 games. The next six games are all at home.

The last time these two teams played was on the first night of the season, when Miami beаt them 103–102. At the buzzer, Cunningham had a fast 3-pointer bounce off the rim. And this one was almost as close for Miami.

At halftime, Miami led 61–60. After the first quarter, the Heat were ahead by 10, but Detroit had most of the second quarter and were ahead by as many as four points in the third. That’s when Miami scored 15 straight points.

It only took two and a half minutes for that run. While the run was going on, Rozier made two 3-pointers. The last one put Miami ahead 80–69 in the middle of the third.

Detroit didn’t give up. For the rest of the game, they got within one possession, or three points or less, seven times. But the Pistons never got the lead back. With 2:05 left, Robinson made Miami’s first 3-pointer in 10 attempts in the fourth quarter, giving them a 111-105 lead. In the last minute, Butler scored five straight points to seal the deal.
