In 40 minutes during Sunday’s 123-108 loss to the Jazz, Antetokounmpo scored 33 points (11-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 11-15 FT), pulled down seven rebounds, dished out 13 assists, and blocked one shot.
Although Antetokounmpo was unable to stop the Bucks from blowing a large lead in the fourth quarter, when they were outscored by 27 points, his fantasy stat line is not much worse for it. The all-star forward put on his point-guard hat once more, dishing out 13 assists to top players and scoring 33 points on an effective 11-for-15 shooting clip to lead the game. Since January 1, Antetokounmpo has recorded double-digit assists in seven of his last 17 games as well as in back-to-back games. Before the new year, he had only done so three times in 31 games. Along with his typical outstanding play in other areas, he’s averaging a career-high 6.4 assists per game this season. Through 48 games, he’s also put up averages of 31.3 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.
