For every player, going to their first All-Star game is a big deal. Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic feels the same way. The Serbian big man said that playing in his first All-Star game is important on every level.
“It’s very important. I love my country, my hometown, and my family. I leave it behind. My will. This is something I will always remember. “I hope my family and kids will remember it too,” Jokic said with a smile.
To make the playoffs for the first time since 2013, Jokic is leading the Nuggets in his fourth season in the league. His team is currently second in the Western Conference standings with 39–18 records. The “Jоker” scores 20.4 points, grabs 10.6 rebounds, and hands out 7.7 assists per game.
