Dwyane Wade, the former player for the Miami Heat, questions if he could have helped them defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals.\
Before he retired at age 37 after the 2019 season, all-time great Dwyane Wade won three NBA titles with the Miami Heat.
With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo leading the way, Miami made it to the NBA Finals the next year. But in six games, the superstar combination of LeBron James and Anthony Davis crushed them.
A user asked, “D-Wade, if you played for the 2020 Miami Heat, would Miami win vs. LeBron’s Lakers? ” in response to a post from ‘theOGsShow.” How far along is the series?”
“I was thinking that while the series was going on,” the Hall of Famer retorted. How might I have contributed to the team, for example?”
A youthful Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, and Goran Dragic were the standouts in their guard rotation. While they sometimes struggled, the group as a whole had a good performance. Wade was not as good as he once was, but he might have still been a reliable scorer. One of the greatest guards of his age was said to be the Heat legend. Wade averaged 15 points, 4.2 assists, and 43.3 percent shooting in his last season.
Though probably not strong enough to defeat James and Davis at the height of their abilities in Los Angeles, his influence would have been noticed.
