Jimmy Butler, the forward for the Miami Heat and a self-proclaimed emo guy, was recently photographed at a well-known bar in Toronto, and it’s not the first time he’s been there.
The six-time NBA All-Star’s appetite doesn’t seem to have been affected by the Heat’s devastating defeat to the post-Siakam Raptors on Wednesday night.
Following the release of an Instagram story from Aphrodite’s Taverna in Chef’s Hall, Butler—who gained notoriety at the beginning of the season for his comical emo makeover—seems to be getting around the city.
After the Heat’s game against the Raptors last night at Scotiabank Arena, it seems like the basketball player is taking a tour of the city. His tales also include his seeing the CN Tower and getting a cup of coffee at one of Toronto’s Balzac’s shops.
With Kyle Lowry, a 2019 NBA Champion and former Toronto Raptor, as a teammate on the Heat, Butler has a knowledgeable tour guide on his side. Lowry may even be taking Butler to some of his favorite sites in the city.
Perhaps Jimmy Butler loves the city too much to accept a deal with Toronto’s club, especially with the recent transactions that have destroyed the Raptors’ core. There is some good news for Raptors supporters.
Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena, the Raptors will take on the Chicago Bulls.
