D’Angelo Russell, one of the NBA’s emerging stars, visited FC Barcelona. The Brooklyn Nets guard came to the facility to continue his workout routine and make sure he stays in top shape. He was on holiday in the area after the basketball season concluded in the United States.
Russell made the decision to work out for an hour in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper pavilion while sporting a personalized Barça basketball shirt. There, he met Riqui Puig, a young soccer player from Barca B who has already played for the first team under Ernesto Valverde’s tutelage in multiple matches. Puig regularly attends basketball games at the Palau Blaugrana since he is a devoted fan. The two have a lengthy conversation about football and basketball.
