LeBron James received harsh criticism from NBA fans when he bailed out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 127-109 loss against the Phoenix Suns.
Following Thursday’s lopsided defeat, the four-time NBA champion went straight to the locker room without exchanging handshakes.

NBA fans criticized the Lakers star for leaving the game without shaking hands with Suns stars
James scored 10 points in the matchup with the Suns
In the primetime match, Phoenix trounced Los Angeles, gaining a lead of up to 32 points.
James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves were benched by Lakers head coach Darvin Ham during the difficult night.
TNT cameras saw an irate LeBron—who was already dressed for the streets—head straight for the tunnel after the bell rung one more time, failing to congratulate Kevin Durant and company on their win.
An NBA fan shared a video of him embracing Durant following the victory on social media, pointing out that his response was very different from when the Lakers defeated the Suns early on October 26.
Others were quick to point fingers at the 19-time All-Star for his behavior.
“He acts in this manner. One person remarked, “It is so disrespectful to the game and the competition, and it is unprofessional.”
“Because of his elegance in defeat, I have little respect for him as a champion. He will never be the GOAT. He is simply an amazing ball player who used self-control to further his career.”
“A basic handshake would suffice,” remarked the third.
One person wrote, “Wow.” I keep telling you guys that Bron is the team’s problem. Bron cares just for Bron. Disgusting.”
James scored 10 points on 3-of-11 shooting (27.3%), pulled down five rebounds, disheveled nine assists, and committed a steal.
On Thursday, Bradley Beal was on fire, tallying a career-high 37 points on 66.7% shooting.
Beal shot 8 of 10 from outside the arc, missing a jump shot to tie his career mark for most 3-pointers made in a single game.
Durant scored 18 points and Devin Booker added 31 points in a big night for Phoenix’s Big 3.
The loss caused the Lakers to drop below.500 on the season once more.
They would have a 19–20 record going into their matchup with the Utah Jazz on Saturday.
