Giannis Antetokounmpo Made NBA History In Bucks-Pacers Game

On Wednesday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are facing off against the Pacers in Indiana.

During the game, two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made NBA history by moving ahead of Jack Sikma (17,287) for 94th on the all-time scoring list.  

Following Sikma, the next player for Antetokounmpo to pass will be Michael Finley (17,306).

Antetokounmpo entered the night with sensational averages of 30.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 60.6% from the field and 20.4% from the three-point range in 32 games.   

The Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-9 record in their first 33 games.

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Pacers (at home) by a score of 122-113.

Following the Pacers, the Bucks will visit the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday evening in Texas.

On the road, they are 8-6 in the 14 games they have played away from Wisconsin. 

Antetokounmpo is in his 11th season in the NBA (all with the Bucks), and has career averages of 23.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field and 28.5% from the three-point range in 751 regular season games.
