LeBron James debuted the UNKNOWN x Nike LeBron 21 in a game where he set the all-time leading scorer record

In the Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Lakers NBA In-Season Tournament game last night, LeBron James made NBA history by becoming the first player to score 39,000 points.

King James had a fantastic night overall. In addition to reaching a new record, his Lakers thrashed the Jazz 131-99 to go to the tournament’s quarterfinals, and he even wore special shoes for the event.

Those particular shoes? An edition of the UNKNWN x Nike LeBron 21 for friends and family.

This new interpretation of the LeBron 21 is a follow-up to the UNKNWN x LeBron 20 “Message in a Bottle” that was introduced earlier this year. It features an earthy brown color scheme with a pop of pink on the Swoosh trim and speckled midsoles. For an added touch of branding, an embroidered UNKNWN badge is located on the heel. In terms of performance, it seems to have the same configuration as the LeBron 21, which consists of a Cushlon midsole with a Zoom Air unit in the heel that is enormous and bottom-loaded and a Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot.

The inspiration for the shoe’s colorway is currently unknown. Given that it was made just for LeBron and his close friends, a retail release is doubtful as well. King James fans should still keep a watch on UNKNWN, though, since the retailer might be working on another LeBron 21 partnership.
