Following a close loss by four points to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Miami Heat beаt the Orlando Magic by a score of 115–106.
In the last few minutes of the game, their lead shrank.
Here are five important things to remember:
1. Tyler Herro shines in the controversial win.
Herro is back to being a dominant scoring player in his second game back from illness. At the end of the night, he had 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. He shot 58.8 percent, including 4 of 5 from beyond the line. It’s clear that Herro is getting better.
2. In the second quarter, Duncan Robinson and Haywood Highsmith really heated up.
Highsmith and Robinson scored 22 points between them by making 5 of 8 three-point shots. The team went on a 17-0 run during the quarter because of what they did. Because they were so good, they had an 18-point lead going into the third.
3. It was clear that the Heat were good at scoring.
It could be said that Miami’s best attacking skill is their ability to block shots from everywhere. This skill really showed in their win on Wednesday, when they Һit 48.2 percent from the field and 51.7 percent from beyond the line. Orlando, meanwhile, had a tough time from three-point range, making only 9 of 36 shots. Orlando’s youth was a big reason for the loss.
The Magic have become one of the league’s best teams. But because their stars didn’t have enough experience, they lost. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, two forwards for Orlando, scored 25 points and grabbed 14 boards while hitting only 7 of 26 shots.
5. The win showed what Miami’s future team might look like.
Fans got a sneak peek at the future of the Heat’s team during this game, with Jimmy Butler sitting out. There’s a lot to be happy about for Heat fans. Along with Robinson, Highsmith, and others who played at a high level, Herro and Bam Adebayo took the lead.
