In May, Bryce moved to Campbell High following his sophomore year.
Simultaneously, his brother Bronny departed from Sierra Canyon to commence his first year of college at USC.
He worked out with Chris Paul Jr., his son, at Campbell High and took part in the Section 7 competition held in Arizona.
During the summer, Bryce participated in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league.
According to ESPN, the James family donated money for a new sports complex at Campbell High School.
However, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard was back in action in August, this time bringing his skills to Notre Dame, the Division 1 winners of the CIF State.
However, he was only on the squad for three months before returning to Sierra Canyon, as reported by Sports Illustrated.
If Bryce had stayed at Notre Dame, he would have missed half the season because the James family did not move after the 16-year-old enrolled in the fall at the Sherman Oaks school.
That isn’t the situation at Sierra Canyon, and the guard may be able to play again this week as he didn’t appear in any Notre Dame games.
The Trailblazers won three games in a row to begin the 2023–24 campaign.
In his twelve varsity games for Sierra Canyon as a sophomore, Bryce scored an average of just 3.8 points per game.
However, collegiate institutions have closely monitored the progress of the athletic prospect.
Currently regarded as a four-star talent, Ohio State and Duquesne University have already extended offers to Bryce, who will be able to declare for the NBA draft in 2026.
He inked a name, image, and likeness (NIL) contract with LeBron’s agency, Klutch Sports, last year.
In the meantime, during Tuesday’s 131-99 victory over the Utah Jazz, the 19-time NBA All-Star made history once more by becoming the first NBA player to achieve 39,000 career points.
In the first 14 games of the 2023–24 NBA season, LeBron averaged 25.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists.
