On Thursday night, Magic Johnson brought along some very special guests to see the premiere of the new stage rendition of To a Mockingbird.
The NBA great was all smiles as he posed for pictures with his wife Cookie and their son EJ, now 26 years old, in New York City.
The family chose to wear strikingly different colors to make a statement. The former athlete wore an orange turtleneck with a plaid suit, while his wife went with a green suit and white top. EJ wore a burgundy fur coat, a stunning satin shirt, and satin slacks that complemented his high-heeled boots as part of his dramatic costume.
On the red carpet, the Johnsons ran across Oscar winner Samuel L. Jackson and snapped photos with him.
After seeing a Broadway show, Magic and his spouse were filled with admiration. Former athlete Magic even referred to it as “one of the best plays I’ve seen”!
Elisa, a 23-year-old mother of three children, barely escaped a terrifying home invasion in the San Fernando Valley earlier this month.
It was stated that two armed međźš— broke into the Airbnb she was staying at with her friends. The 10 guests were allegedly intimidated and held at gunpoint by the međťš—.
Elisa was not present when the house invasion happened, but an LAPD spokeswoman assured PEOPLE that it did happen. Both of the male suspects fled the scene before the cops arrived, the LAPD told PEOPLE. Luckily, no one was harmed.
Shortly after the heist, Elisa reportedly posted on her Instagram account, saying, “God is so good.”
On a recent Red Table Talk, EJ—who came out as gay in 2013—discussed his difficulties dating as the public figure’s son.
It has always presented difficulties. Numerous factors could influence it. First of all, the whole celebrity thing: are you interested in dating me or my dad? He shared the news with Willow Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and his mother Cookie.
The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills actor went on to explain that he had not yet introduced a romantic partner to his family, “because every time I would be ready, something would happen and then I’m like, ‘Okay,'”
