Michael Jordan: Biography, Basketball Player, Businessman

This 56,000-square-foot property was bought by Michael Jordan when he was winning his first of six NBA titles. The land cost Jordan and Juanita Vanoy, his then-wife, approximately $2 million in 1991. Upon inspecting the interior of the mansion, it is evident that Michael Jordan left his mark on it. His Airness is acknowledged by the gates, cigar lounge, and the recognizable basketball court. In addition to these spaces, the $14.9 million estate has a wine cellar, a poker table, an infinity pool, a gym, a fish pond, nine bedrooms, and 19 bathrooms.

Even though the house is extremely opulent and contains a wealth of Jordan’s past, he hasn’t sold it to a buyer yet. Reportedly, one of the main reasons Jordan hasn’t sold the estate yet is that it’s too personalized for him. However, given that those who can afford his home would want to live somewhere else, location is also a significant consideration.

Jordan has also offered the customer a pair of each Air Jordan sneaker that is specially tailored to their size in order to sweeten the bargain. Despite the fact that this was an alluring offer to add to the mix, it hasn’t worked out as Jordan is still having trouble selling the property.
