The NBA player bought his new home, which sits on 2.5 acres, from the estate of Lee Phillip Bell, who co-created “The Young and the Restless” and passed away earlier this year. LeBron’s new home at 9955 Beverly Grove Dr. has a lit tennis court, a screening room, a pool house with two bathrooms, and seven fireplaces.
With almost 9,100 square feet of interior space and exposed beam ceilings, the massive Beverly Hills estate can fit the 6 feet and 9 inches of the LA Lakers great.
Situated on 9,100 square feet of land with four bedrooms and eight baths overall, the main estate boasts a palm-topped motor court and a driveway bordered by hedges. Although it was constructed in the 1930s, Bell owned it and made changes to it throughout time.
Bell’s former estate has been kept in wonderful shape, which was listed with Hilton & Hyland founders Jeff Hyland and Rick Hilton in June. And before being purchased by the Bell family, the estate was owned by legendary actress Katherine Hepburn.
The four-time NBA MVP paid $36.75 million, slightly below the original listing price of $39 million, for the Mediterranean-style Beverly Hills house.
