According to a recent story, Grammy Award–winning musician Nas just took possession of a $3.5 million property on the outskirts of Calabasas, California.
Constructed in 2007, the house is a 6,500 square foot property with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and more than ten acres of land. It is described as a “Mediterranean-meets-Southwestern architectural-style mashup.”
Nas emerged victorious in a bidding war that saw the home’s price rise by an incredible $1 million from its initial $2.5 million listing.
The estate is said to be remote and encircled by mountains, with an eight-car garage, a long road, gates, and security cameras.
The house has a gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, family room, dining room, office, and living room with a fireplace.
In addition, the home features a wine cellar, billiards room, sitting room, private terrace, twin walk-in closets, gym, and spa-like bathroom in the master bedroom with a two-way fireplace. A roof deck and a grotto-style pool with a spa, waterfall, and water slide are features of the outdoor space.
