Rick Ross ‘pays $37M’ for sprawling nine-bedroom mansion on Miami’s Star Island

Rick Ross is spending more than $37 million to buy a lavish property with nine bedrooms on Star Island in Miami.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Star Island has hosted well-known figures over the years, including Gloria Estefan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

When Jennifer Lopez and her then-fiance Alex Rodriguez purchased a 10-bedroom home on the island in 2020, they added sparkle to the area.

Now, Rick, 47, is relocating to Star Island, where he was raised in the same Miami area that gave birth to Flo Rida, according to TMZ Hip Hop.

Rick reportedly intends to have the opulent mansion completely refurbished after having already spent millions of dollars purchasing the home.

His new mansion, which is roughly 40,000 square feet in size, has luxurious features like six bathrooms, a summer kitchen, and a heated pool.

The ultra-luxurious waterfront home has a small wooden wharf beyond the backyard that provides access to the ocean.

Rick will also be able to enjoy the pleasures of features like an entertainment area after moving into the home.

The rapper Money In The Grave’s acquisition of the home, which went up for auction in May, is expected to close in a few weeks.

According to Architectural Digest, he paid $3.5 million for NBA former star Amar’e Stoudemire’s Miami residence two years prior to his most recent purchase.

Rick said, “I still haven’t slept in that once,” on the REVOLT program Assets Over Liabilities, months after purchasing Amare’s home.

Then he thought, “But you know what? The value is that I could get up to $3 million more for the identical house if I sold it.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Rick Ross also paid Meek Mill $4.2 million a few months ago to remove him from his Atlanta residence.

When Rick began earning a legitimate living as a rapper, he once bought a million-dollar Atlanta home only to drive past it.

In a 2021 interview, Rick said, “I was always fascinated about homes, so me and my homies started coming up to Atlanta.” We used to often bike past this location, pause, stop, and exclaim, “God damn.”

He revealed: “That’s what the play was, and after I got my deal and my situation, I bought a million-dollar home that’s right around the corner and maybe two minutes from here that I still own, just so I can ride by it every day while I’m in Atlanta.”

The stunning 109-room estate in Georgia that Rick purchased from Evander Holyfield and named The Promise Land is his most notable asset.
