Michael Jordan, his 44-year-old wife Yvette, and their twin children leave his yacht on a boat and arrive to a posh hotel in Sardinia, where lunch is $330.
While on vacation in Italy, NBA legend Michael Jordan was photographed smoking a cigar and dining at a five-star hotel in Sardinia.
At the Cala di Volpe hotel in Sardinia, where a meal costs 300 euros ($336), water costs 20 euros per bottle ($22), and wine prices start at 200 euros ($225), Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto were spotted dining.
During Europe’s current heatwave, Jordan was seen mopping his brow while sitting at the table in the suffocating 106 degree heat.
Subsequently, he was seen wearing a 23-number t-shirt, a reference to the jersey he wore when he was a standout player with the Chicago Bulls. In his illustrious time with the Bulls, Jordan took home six NBA titles. While Jordan has been in Europe, he has reconnected with some old friends from the NBA and Hollywood.
The restaurant band playfully serenaded the trio of friends, and Johnson uploaded a funny video of Jordan and himself grinning along with the music.
Johnson posted on Instagram, saying, “Tonight we enjoyed an incredible dinner at the world-famous Da Paolino Ristorante AKA the lemon tree restaurant in Capri, Italy.”
And I got to socialize with John and Vicki Palmer, Judge Greg and Linda Mathis, Sam (Samuel L Jackson) and LaTanya Jackson, the greatest basketball player to ever live, Michael Jordan, and his wife Yvette.
Jordan and wife Prieto usually maintain a low profile while living in Sicily with their twin girls.
Jordan proposed to the model with Cuban background three years after they initially crossed paths in a Miami nightclub in 2008. Their children, who are now nine years old, were born the year after they were married in 2013.
Following 13 years as the NBA team’s owner, Jordan has recently made headlines with rumors that he is selling the Charlotte Hornets for an astounding $3 billion. The 20-year-old Miller claimed that Jordan was even with him during a workout before the Draft, after he unintentionally airballed a free throw in front of him.
Paris was where MJ and Yvette were before they left for Italy. A reporter saw them leaving the restaurant and asked Jordan if he was happy with his son Marcus, 32, dating Bulls player Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen.
“No!” he exclaimed, laughing.
Subsequently, at a recent podcast episode, Marcus and Larsa shared their genuine feelings regarding Michael’s remark.
Marcus was “dying laughing,” on the one hand, at Michael’s comment, which he found “hilarious,” since “I know my dad, right?” However, Larsa “didn’t think it was funny,” “found nothing funny about it,” and was confused as to why Marcus felt the situation funny. When he heard what Michael had said about Larsa, he thought right once that Michael was playing. He’s chuckling and making jokes. You know, he’s just having a good time.
Marcus waggishly continued, suggesting that his father may have been “a little lit” on tequila the evening of his widely shared insult against Larsa at the Matignon restaurant in Paris.
