The Nuggets’ championship rings were designed by Jason in Beverly Hills, the man behind the championship rings of the Lakers, Bucks, Warriors, Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Las Vegas Golden Knights or Las Vegas Aces.ย The Nuggets’ championship ring contains the story of their journey to the first championship in team history.

The ring starts at 16 carats, symbolizing the 16 victories needed to win the championship.ย The ring features the Larry O’Brien trophy logo with “Nuggets” written on the front and the silhouette of a mountain representing the team.

โ€œEvery time we do a championship ring, it has to have a story hidden in it,โ€ Jason Arasheben, CEO of “Jason of Beverly Hills,” told Nuggets.com.ย It’s not just a story about the team alone, but covers everything throughout the season, the players and most importantly the city of Denver.”

In addition to its impressive design, the Nuggets’ championship ring also incorporates many stories in it.

Honor Ball Arena

The Nuggets’ championship flag will hang on the roof of Ball Arena, so it’s not surprising that the club pays tribute to its home stadium inside the championship ring.ย The ring face has the words “Nuggets” encrusted with 24 yellow diamonds to commemorate the 24 years the Nuggets have played at Ball Arena.

On the side, the ring reads “World Champion” with the classic Nuggets logo and regular season achievements.ย Above there is a row of 15 stones representing the 15 playoff games taking place at Ball Arena.

Remembering game 5 NBA Finals 2023

The ring has 89 red rubies around it, symbolizing the 89 points the Nuggets scored to win the championship in Game 5 NBA Finals 2023 against the Miami Heat.

Sweet 16

The Nuggets’ ring features 16 carats of diamonds, rubies and blue sapphires, representing the team’s 16 playoff victories in raising the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

The inner and outer rings feature a gold grain texture โ€” a design that has been included in a championship ring for the first time โ€” along with the team’s “Bring It In” slogan.

Drawer in the ring

This is the design that makes Nuggets’ ring the most special.

โ€œThe sides of the ring, for the first time in history, are interchangeable,โ€ Arashaben said.ย “It means you can change the color with just a toggle. We have a toggle from 1967, the year the team was founded, to 2023, the championship year. When you toggle, it goes from green sapphires to white diamonds on the ring face.”

A lever at the top allows the ring background to be changed, along with a drawer on the side that can be pulled out to reveal a championship banner, along with important dates in Nuggets history.

Arashaben proudly says, “Over the years, the rings have gotten bigger and bigger. Not only is this a big ring, it’s also very flashy. What makes me most proud of this ring are the two unique creations.” that we introduced, this has never been done before. It is very difficult to create a new one. But on this ring, we have innovated 2 features.”

Height

Denver’s home ground always gives them a huge advantage thanks to the city’s altitude.ย It made it difficult for the away team players to breathe.ย And the number “5280” is written on the top and bottom of the ring to represent Denver’s elevation above sea level.ย The iconic number people often mention when talking about the Nuggets’ home stadium.
