As initially reported by the New York Post, Offset surprised Cardi B on her 29th birthday with a $1.5 million investment property in the Dominican Republic. The artist of “Bodak Yellow” just posted on Instagram that the West Indies rental home has been planned for a while: “I’ve been telling [Offset] for a while now that I want to invest in vacation rentals in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean nations, but it seemed like he didn’t agree with me and preferred to use his money for other ventures. Well, I was wrong.
The four-story modern home is located in a guard-gated neighborhood in the northeastern vacation town of Las Terrenas on a 4-acre hillside parcel close to the shore. Across 7,000 square feet, it has six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
A separate studio with a kitchen and living area, one bedroom, and one bathroom is also included. There are two swimming pools: a smaller lap pool off one of the bedrooms and an infinity pool with chaise seats on the top. Beautiful views of the ocean and the tropics are also framed by a large number of terraces and glass walls.
The home, constructed with wood, stone, rusty steel, and raw concrete, is presently available on Airbnb for $836 per night. In addition to an Italian kitchen with a wine fridge, an eat-in island, and an adjacent dining room, there is a fitness center, a private garden, and a covered outdoor dining area with a barbecue.
