Kevin Durant’s Workout Routine and Diet Plan

As one of the best basketball players in the United States, Kevin Durant is known for both his skill and his height. This guy, who is 6’9″ and very heavy, naturally makes the other team work hard.  He’s tall, but that’s not the only thing that gives him an edge. He trains hard for hours! His trainer, Dwight Daub, has put him through a tough workout plan.

Kevin likes to take things a step further and push himself to a greater extent than these basic exercises. He sprints on the sand and calls this running drill “suicide.” It takes twice as much work and energy to run on normal ground. His friend Russell Westbrook sometimes goes with him. He thinks that training in the rough sand is a great way to get stronger, more balanced, and faster. The rough surface of the sand helps him work out muscles that he wouldn’t be able to do with regular exercise.

Kevin says that the best way to get fit is to eat consistently healthy food that is full of nutrients. He says that if you are an athlete, you should never skip a meal because you will need to be strong. He even likes to eat small, healthy meals in between the big ones. He would eat salad and fruits or drink fresh juices or muffins, which were his favorite. He does, however, pay attention to what he eats, which is something other people should also do.
